Script Submission Guidelines
Script Quality Standards
- Scripts must be functional and tested before publication
- Provide clear, detailed descriptions of what the script does
- Use accurate scope declarations (Account, Story, or Both)
- Give proper credit for derived work using the Credits field
- Declare accurate permission requirements
Content Requirements
- Submit original work or properly attributed derivatives
- Select appropriate license (MIT, Apache-2.0, CC-BY-4.0, All Rights Reserved)
- Document changes in changelog for each release
- Use semantic versioning (major.minor.patch)
Prohibited Script Content
- Malicious code (data theft, system damage, unauthorized access)
- Misleading descriptions or deceptive functionality
- Copyright infringement without proper attribution
- Scripts designed to bypass NovelAI security measures
Comment and Discussion Rules
Constructive Communication
- Be respectful and professional in all interactions
- Provide helpful, actionable feedback
- Stay on-topic for the script being discussed

Prohibited Behavior

Reportable Content
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the Report button. Our moderation team will review all reports promptly.

Repetitive, off-topic, or excessive promotional content
MALICIOUS
Code designed to harm users, steal data, or damage systems
MISLEADING
False descriptions or deceptive functionality claims
INAPPROPRIATE
Offensive, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate content
COPYRIGHT
Unauthorized use of copyrighted work without attribution
HARASSMENT
Targeted attacks, bullying, or threatening behavior

How to Report
- Click the "Report" button on scripts, comments, or user profiles
- Select the appropriate report category
- Provide a detailed reason for your report
- Include evidence or examples if applicable
Note: You can only submit one report per item. If you've already reported something, you won't be able to report it again. Don't worry - moderators will see all reports about the same content together when reviewing.

- Our moderation team reviews all reports within 48-72 hours
- You'll receive a notification when your report has been reviewed
- Reports may result in content removal, penalties, or be dismissed if not valid
What Happens to Reported Content
Content May Be Hidden
Violating content is removed from public view while keeping it available for appeals
Permanent Removal
In rare cases of severe violations, content may be permanently deleted
Comments May Be Disabled
New comments can be disabled on problematic scripts while existing comments remain visible
Appeals Can Restore Content
If your appeal is successful, your content will be made visible again
Consequences for Violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in penalties. The type and severity of penalty depends on the nature of the violation and your history on the platform.

SUSPENDED 🛑
Temporary restriction from creating or modifying content.
- Cannot create scripts, releases, or comments
- Can view content and submit appeals
- Duration set by moderator (days/weeks)
- Automatically expires after duration
PERMANENT ⛔
Complete platform ban for severe violations.
- Cannot access any platform features
- Reserved for severe violations
- Applied to repeat offenders
- Can be appealed
Penalty Application
- Penalties are applied by moderators after reviewing reports
- You'll receive notifications via email and on the platform
- We'll always explain why a penalty was applied
- Violating content will be hidden from public view

We believe in fairness and transparency. All penalties can be appealed, and we encourage you to do so if you believe a mistake was made.

- Original penalty remains in effect
- Detailed explanation provided
- No further appeals allowed for this penalty
